Tip 1
Be sure to fill and seal cracks and holes in your home's exterior immediately to help prevent pests from finding their way inside your home. Windows and doors should be outfitted with screens and weather stripping.

Don't leave uncovered food sitting out on counters or tables for extended periods or overnight.

Seasonal clothing should always be properly cleaned and stored in air-tight storage bins to safeguard them from destructive fabric pests.

Be sure your attic and crawl space have proper ventilation. A properly ventilated attic creates an unfriendly environment pests.

Be sure to take the trash out every night.

Don't allow debris, construction materials or stone and brick piles to collect on your property. These area can serve as "shelters" and breeding grounds for rodents.

Repair all leaks immediately. Plumbing and roofleaks provide water sources for pests and allow them set-up their colonies indoors.
